CEC Alumnae Group: Career Health in Second AdulthoodThe five group sessions are designed to transform how we define, direct and manage our career/life in Second Adulthood. We are at a pivotal time faced with challenging questions, choices and decisions with no roadmap to follow. Participants engage in a group and self-management process that aligns personal and career goals with viable options for Career Health.
Instructor: Andrea Wolf, Director, Career Education Center at Simmons College
Andrea has a combination of over twenty years experience as a career director, career management coach, consultant and writer. She is recognized for creative coaching methods which empower individuals at the crossroads of age and stage to find pathways to manage healthy careers. By identifying core issues and engaging in a learning process, her clients make meaningful choices and changes and implement viable action plans.
Five Sessions - Meeting on Mondays:
5:00 - 6:30 p.m.
- October 5: Career Health Inventory: What are the questions I am asking and why now?
- October 19: Uncover Your Voice: What are the messages from the assessment exercises?
- November 2: Create Your Vision: How do I see myself now and what do I want to do in work/life?
- November 16: Align Your Voice with Choice: What is my purpose/contribution and where do I fit?
- December 7: Develop a Proactive Plan for Career Health: Where and how do I begin?
Please RSVP no later than September 21 as the course requires a minimum enrollment in order to run the 5 in-classroom sessions.
