Simmons College offers more than just an education! The benefits of being a Simmons alumna/us begin on Commencement day and last a lifetime. A variety of benefits and services are available to alumnae/i of Simmons's undergraduate and graduate programs. Some require an alumnae/i card or a password-protected account on Alumnet, but all are available to you!

Following is a summary of all alumnae/i benefits offered by Simmons College and how to take advantage of each.

 

Alumnae/i Card

Your Simmons College alumnae/i card is your ticket to resources, access, and savings! Both Simmons undergraduate alumnae and graduate alumni may obtain alumnae/i cards by requesting by email, in person or by mail at:

Event Invitations and the SIMMONS magazine

Invitations to Alumnae/i Events
All alumnae/i with updated mailing addresses will receive invitations to upcoming events based on Simmons College program, class year, geography, etc. To update your address or other contact information, please contact the Office of Alumnae/i Relations at the above address. Some major events include Reunion, graduate school Alumnae/i Day, program dinners, and social and networking events held around the country.

The SIMMONS Magazine
The SIMMONS magazine is published three times per year. The goal of this publication is to keep alumnae/i engaged and informed of news about the College, its students, and its 50,000 alumnae/i. The Simmons College magazine has been published since 1910 and was originally called the Simmons College Quarterly. It became known as the Simmons Magazine in 1918, and was recently changed to SIMMONS magazine from the Simmons Review in 2007. All alumnae/i with valid mailing addresses automatically will receive a copy of the magazine tailored to their specific program of study. To change which graduate school version you receive, please contact the Office of Advancement Marketing at 617-521-2380 or email simmonsmagazine@simmons.edu.

Email Resources and Updates

Simmons eNews

Simmons has merged the Simmons eNews and the Monthly Events Email into one! The NEW Simmons eNews launched in April 2008. It is an electronic publication distributed monthly by the Office of Advancement Marketing. The goal of this publication is to keep alumnae/i engaged and informed of the latest news about the College, its students, and its 50,000+ alumnae/i. As well as to keep up with current events at the College and learn about programs where you can network with other alumnae/i all through one dynamic monthly email. This resource is automatically sent to all alumnae/i with valid email addresses unless they specifically request otherwise. Please provide your email address by registering on Alumnet or by contacting the Office of Alumnae/i Relations to begin receiving Simmons eNews or call 617-521-2321 or 800-831-4284.

Access to all features of Alumnet

Email, Directory, and Other Online Services
The Alumnet online community was created for Simmons alumnae/i to connect with classmates, network with other alumnae/i, register online for Simmons events, and receive a free Simmons forwarding email address. Once registered, other ancillary services include the monthly Simmons eNews eNewsletter (above) that will help you stay informed about important Simmons happenings.

To join Alumnet, simply click here and enter your name, email address, and ID. You can find your 7-digit or 8-digit ID number above your name in the address label of your SIMMONS magazine. Professional Development

Simmons Educational Opportunities
Simmons graduates can continue professional development by participating in Simmons's Executive Education programs. Alumnae receive a 15 percent discount on tuition toward open enrollment programs. Leadership Conference
Alumnae/i receive a special discounted rate to attend the annual Simmons School of Management Leadership Conference - the world's premier leadership conference for women. Conference details may be found on the SOM's website at simmons.edu/som/leadership.

Resources for Clubs and Classes

Simmons Speakers Bureau
The Office of Alumnae/i Relations is proud to make prominent faculty and staff available to speak to alumnae/i groups through the Speakers Bureau. This program was established in response to alumnae/i requests for more personal contact with faculty.
