Please join the SOMAA on Tuesday, November 17 for an evening of creativity and innovation as we celebrate entrepreneurship with an exciting line up of events.

The evening will begin with an interactive workshop led by Dr. Teresa Nelson to explore how we limit – and unleash – creativity, how to scan for new business opportunities, and how to seize the opportunity with the right timing.

We will then conduct what is sure to be a lively panel discussion with two highly successful local female entrepreneurs – Kathy Sherbrooke, CEO and Co-Founder of Circles and Beth Williams, President and CEO of Roxbury Technology Corporation. If you have ever considered starting a business, or if you have an opportunity to launch a new initiative within your organization, this event is for you.

Kathy is CEO and co-founder of Circles, a leading provider of concierge, personal assistance, experiences and event programs for employee and customer loyalty programs. Plan an Event in Your Region

The Simmons School of Management Alumnae Association encourages alumnae to network in their regions.  To support this and to maximize the number of events that occur, the SOMAA general practice is to offer a financial subsidy (rather than underwriting the entire cost) for alumnae-organized events.  However, the SOMAA is willing to fully underwrite the cost of regional "kick-off" events - the first event in any region to bring local alumnae together.
