Leadership Weekend Brings Together Alumnae/i Volunteers & Leaders

(October 23, 2013) -- More than 150 of the most valued leaders and volunteers were on campus for our annual Leadership Weekend. On Friday evening, was the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Warburg Chair for International Relations, which was established by Trustee Emerita Joan M. Warburg '45, '97HD (watch tribute video) through a generous, visionary gift. Also that evening, the Alumnae Association Executive Board presented awards honoring Bobbi Thompson '77, P'11, the Hon. Amy Nechtem '76, Julia Roy '05, Linda Charpentier '68, and the Class of 1969.

On Saturday, Provost Katie Conboy moderated a stimulating conversation with the deans, and President Drinan provided an update on the state of the College. "It is always a pleasure for me to be able share the tremendous accomplishments of our students, faculty, and staff with our alumnae leaders," said Drinan. "John Simmons" also attended for what was correctly advertised as "a unique conversation!"
