Carmen Baez 79(November 8, 2012) -- The Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) and the Simmons Communications Department welcomed Carmen Baez '79, '03HD, president of DAS Latin America group at Omnicom, to campus to discuss her career and the importance of staying connected to the Simmons community. Baez highlighted the stepping stones in the development of her career.

"Simmons became a key element of my journey," says Baez.

She gave the students in the audience advice on the best ways to obtain their jobs in the future, and reminded them to dream big because anything is possible. "I can't emphasize enough on the importance of forming relationships," she said.  Baez suggests that students determine the requirements for jobs they're interested in, and commit to learning all they can to prepare.
