Trustee Roslyn Watson '71 Challenges Alumnae/i to Support the Black Alumnae/i Symposium Legacy Scholarship
Each of us in our own way has experienced the transformative power of a Simmons education. Our intellects were sharpened in the classrooms, our careers were launched, our social networks strengthened and life-long friendships were formed. As we gather this spring to celebrate the power of our presence at Simmons over many decades, please join me in harnessing our collective power and our gifts so that talented young women of color who seek a Simmons education can have one.
In celebration of the 2013 Black Alumnae/i Symposium, I challenge you to raise funds for the Black Alumnae/i Symposium Legacy Scholarship. Between now and the Symposium weekend, every gift you make to this scholarship, I will match dollar for dollar, up to $150,000. Just imagine the impact we can have together.
I can't think of a better way for us to celebrate our gifts and invest in the community that we all hold so dear.
With much appreciation,

ROSLYN WATSON '71 TRUSTEE, SIMMONS COLLEGE
P.S. You may also make your gift by calling the Office at Advancement at 800-831-4284 or mailing a check to: Simmons College Office of Advancement 300 The Fenway Boston, MA 02115
Event date: Black Alumnae/i Symposium 2013 April 12 - 14, 2013
